Chris Wrenn returns to the New York Hardcore Chronicles with Drew Stone this Sunday 2/22
What do AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, TERROR, HAVE HEART, SICK OF IT ALL, DEFEATER, AGNOSTIC FRONT, DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR, H2O, and dozens of other bands have in common?
Find out this Sunday! Originally featured on episode #67, Chris Wrenn is headed back for episode #417 to chat with Drew Stone on his New York Hardcore Chronicles show to talk about the release of his book Fenway Punk, and how his sale of rivalry-fueling swag after Red Sox games helped fund an entire generation of hardcore punk bands.
Tune in at 3 PM on Sunday, February 22nd HERE.
T-Shirt Tuesday: Have Heart 10.17.09 T-Shirt
This HAVE HEART T-shirt was made to commemorate the band’s “final” show on 10.17.09. It was an homage to a Ten Yard Fight T-shirt (and “final” show promo stencil) that had been released a decade earlier.
The 10.17.09 was taken straight from the stencil that Bridge Nine had used for Ten Yard Fight in 1999 (with a little number swap to make in ‘09). Chris Wrenn cut out the stencil for the Have Heart info and spray-painted it onto paper.
150 T-shirts were produced, each with a hand-numbered woven Bridge Nine label sewn onto the sleeve. The Bridge Nine logo & shirt size information are silkscreened on the inside of the T-shirt's neck.Check it out in the archive HERE!
Did you have this T-shirt back then? We’d love to see it! Send pics to archive@bridge9.com

Fenway Punk is out NOW! You can grab it here: Beverly, MA / USA / Canada / Europe
Friday, February 13th, was the kickoff party at Bridge Nine for the release of Fenway Punk, the new book by Bridge Nine founder Chris Wrenn. It’s the true story of how Red Sox fans and the long-standing rivalry with the New York Yankees helped fund the Bridge Nine record label in the early 2000s. Chris was joined by Jared Carrabis of the Section 10 Podcast, and the two longtime collaborators chatted about the intersection of Boston punk and sports, the birth of the Sully’s brand, and how the money earned from peddling “Yankees Suck” merch on the sidewalk outside of Fenway Park over twenty-five years ago helped Chris to document an entire generation of hardcore punk bands and send them on tour all over the world.
We’ll be adding more photos and video to this post, so check back!

T-Shirt Tuesday: Bridge Nine x Linas Garsys (2002)
This week’s T-shirt debuted in 2002 and was illustrated by artist Linas Garsys. Linas worked closely with Bridge Nine in the early 2000s, illustrating logos and album covers for bands like COPS AND ROBBERS (2001), THE HOPE CONSPIRACY (2001), STRIKING DISTANCE (2002), DEATH THREAT / OVER MY DEAD BODY (2002), and most notably, AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, through their iconic angel (2001).
This T-shirt was first printed in 2002, and the art was remixed and reprinted in 2013 and 2023. Check it out in the archive HERE!

This week’s T-shirt is a throwback to 2003, for L.A.’s TERROR. This was the first T-shirt Bridge Nine made for the band.
This tee was designed by Matt Smith when he was in the band. Several versions of this T-shirt were available around that time. First directly from the band, and then Bridge Nine, and it popped up everywhere (especially in the lineup photos for other bands! FBF: The Trust self-titled 7-inch (B9R004)
The self-titled 7-inch debut from THE TRUST was Bridge Nine’s fourth release, and it came out in 1998. The Trust was a Boston Straight Edge band that looked up to In My Eyes, much as DYS did to SSD. Their only vinyl output was this six-song EP. The band broke up shortly after and was reformed as Down But Not Out. It was pressed just once, and two vinyl variants were available: gold (101) and black (900).

The PROCLAMATION Straight Edge Hardcore 7-inch was Bridge Nine’s third release, and the first from a Boston band on the label. Free Stickers With Every Order book + B9's next warehouse gig!
Bridge Nine is helping Iodine Recordings celebrate the release of their new book by Thomas Rackow, Free Stickers with Every Order: A History of Hardcore Stickers ($39.95), by hosting a very intimate performance in our warehouse with two bands featured in its pages. We can't tell you who it is yet, but if you've checked out our other shows with bands like Agnostic Front, Ten Yard Fight, H2O, New Found Glory, and American Nightmare, you know it's going to be special. It's happening on Saturday, March 7th.
Free Stickers with Every Order is the first book dedicated entirely to the visual and cultural legacy of hardcore punk stickers. Spanning North America from the early 1980s to the present, this 250-page deluxe hardcover presents a carefully curated archive of rare and often long-lost stickers — collected over decades and contextualized through firsthand interviews with key figures from bands including 7 Seconds, Quicksand, Earth Crisis, American Nightmare, Hot Water Music, Bane, Integrity, Agnostic Front, and more. The book stands as a focused time capsule of hardcore’s DIY ethos, visual language, and community, told by those who were there.
This next event is so outrageous and one-of-a-kind that we can't just sell tickets as we have in the past. Iodine is making copies available for pre-order from the Bridge Nine store in Beverly, Massachusetts. Come down in person, pre-order the hardcover, 250-page book for $39.95, and your name will be added to the will-call list. Books for Bridge Nine's customers will be available at the show on 3/7, so you'll be getting your copy more than a month before anyone else! Reserve your spot before they're gone. You're not going to want to miss this.
