T-Shirt Tuesday: Some Kind Of Hate's "Stencil" Tee (2005)

January 20, 2026 Bridge Nine

This week’s T-shirt is a throwback to the spring of 2005, for Boston’s SOME KIND OF HATE. This was printed by Bridge Nine just before the band headed to Europe to support Slapshot’s “Pope’s Dead, You’re Next” tour (check out some great photos from that tour HERE! Check out the archive page for this T-shirt HERE!

Make sure you give Some Kind Of Hate’s album Undisputed (2003) a listen today, then dig a little deeper and check out their self-titled debut 7-inch EP (2002).

Did you have this T-shirt back then? We’d love to see it! Send pics to archive@bridge9.com

23 Years ago this weekend... The Bridge Nine / Deathwish Fest (2002)

July 18, 2025 Bridge Nine

In the summer of 2002, a year before Bridge Nine and Deathwish moved into an office together in Salem, Massachusetts, both labels held a collaborative two-day festival at The Hideaway in Cambridge, Mass with a mix of our respective bands.

Check out that lineup! Headlined by Converge on night one and American Nightmare on night two, the B9 roster was represented by Death Threat, Panic, Striking Distance, Some Kind of Hate, Champion, and Sworn In. Check out some photos from the weekend:

In an ironic twist, the last show of Slapshot's "Pope's Dead, You're Next" Tour was 20 years ago today

May 6, 2025 Bridge Nine

Twenty years ago this month, SLAPSHOT headed to Europe with CHAMPION and SOME KIND OF HATE on what was originally their “Relight the Fire” tour, but quickly renamed as the “Pope’s Dead, You’re Next” tour (Pope John Paul II died April 2nd, 2005). Here are a bunch of never-before-seen photos (and a few that we’ve posted over the years) from that tour two decades ago:
