Cave In Films Music Video for New Song "Reckoning" at B9HQ
Last month we welcomed CAVE IN to the new Bridge Nine headquarters when they reached out looking for a warehouse to shoot a video for their new song "Reckoning". On the day of the shoot, I got to surprise singer Stephen Brodsky with a copy of his old fanzine, which he had sent me back in 1997. The fanzine featured an interview with BANE, whose bassist Peter Chilton just so happened to be the music video's creative producer/editor. This moment and the overlap that exists between artists was exactly what I love about the hardcore community! The video came out awesome and features projections from esteemed artist Thomas Hooper. Be sure to grab Cave In's new album via Relapse Records, out on May 20th, and check out the video for "Reckoning", directed by Jason Zucco, via the link below!

Terror's Pain Into Power Tour A Must-See
Terror plays the Middle East in Cambridge, MA. May 13, 2022
TERROR is currently on tour in support of their new album, Pain Into Power, and we were able to see them play at the Middle East Club in Cambridge, MA on Friday, May 13th, supported by Kublai Khan, Sanguisugabogg, and Pain of Truth. The band opened with the title track off the new album and played a few more new ones throughout the set, but made sure to include fan favorites like "Stick Tight", "One With the Underdogs", and "Keep Your Mouth Shut". Terror never fails to stoke a crowd into a frenzy, with frontman Scott Vogel taking the audience to task - making eye contact with each person and including them in the performance. The result was 40 minutes of unwavering energy, movement, and pure fun, closed out by classic "Keepers of the Faith". If you're able, be sure to check out Terror on tour now through the end of the month and grab their new album!

War On Women Raise $1500 for The Brigid Alliance
Feminist hardcore-punk band WAR ON WOMEN quickly responded to the news last week that the Supreme Court had voted to strike down the Roe v. Wade decision, according to an initial draft opinion that was obtained by POLITICO. The band, longtime sociopolitical activists, announced that they would be donating the proceeds from any sales of their grenade shirt to The Brigid Alliance, a non-profit organization that arranges and funds confidential, personalized travel support to those seeking abortion care in increasingly hostile environments. Within days, the band raised $1,500, and undoubtedly will be carrying the torch against anti-abortion rhetoric as they embark on their tour with Good Riddance on Friday, May 13th.
