Chris B9 is headed to Gillette Stadium tonight to see Metallica, so he made this limited-edition T-shirt in tribute to Megaforce Records. Megaforce is the independent record label started in 1982 by the late Jon and Marsha Zazula. Formed by the couple to release Metallica's debut LP, Kill 'Em All, the label also represented the earliest output from Anthrax, Testament, Mercyful Fate, and many other hard and heavy bands. (Get a quick lesson on Megaforce HERE).
Fittingly, Bridge Nine made a limited quantity of this design, with only 19 hoodies and 82 t-shirts printed to commemorate the year Megaforce got started. There's only a handful of each size of three different colors (deep heather gray, heather clay red, heather autumn orange), so grab one while you can!
They are printed on a super-soft 52% cotton / 48% poly Bella+Canvas 3001CVC tee and Independent brand mid-weight hooded sweatshirt.
When Have Heart announced they were reuniting this summer, our friends at Trust Records got the idea to get a collab going with SSD. This limited edition T-shirt is the result, and the profits are going to a Boston-area cancer charity, to be named later, in honor and support of Al Barile’s fight against colon cancer. Grab one while you can, HERE!
A few weeks ago, Los Angeles-based photographer Erica Lauren contacted us to see if we’d help use one of her fantastic photos of Have Heart taken live at Tied Down Fest, to benefit the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.
We’d collaborated with Erica back in 2021 through our other brand, Sully’s, on a puzzle featuring a mural of Joe Kelly of the Los Angeles Dodgers painted by artist Jonas Never and were thrilled to work with her again.
We made a limited run of five hundred 18x24 prints, and donated the profits - an incredible $5,000 - to the PCRF yesterday. THANK YOU to everyone involved: Erica, Have Heart, Bob Shedd, for making this happen, and everyone who supported this effort! There are a few prints left, grab one while you still can HERE!
Bridge Nine is thrilled to host Vinnie Stigma (Agnostic Front) and Howie Abrams in a moderated conversation by Drew Stone (Incendiary Device, The New York Hardcore Chronicles) in support of the release of Vinne’s new book: Vinnie Stigma, The Most Interesting Man in the World (Due out on Permuted Press, September 10th). Mark your calendars! It’s happening at the Bridge Nine HQ in Beverly, MA on Saturday, December 7th from 2 pm-4 pm.
