HEAVYHEX

HEAVYHEX is a Long Island-based post hardcore band. Since forming in 2021, the band quickly gained a reputation for their ability to translate raw emotion into their music. Drawing inspiration from influential bands like Mindset, Have Heart, and Title Fight, HEAVYHEX has crafted a distinctive sound that combines aggressive yet melodic guitars with impactful lyrics.

Both Guitarists, Daniel Lukach and Jeremy Gardiner crossed paths when Danny was searching for a buyer for his Hiwatt lead 50. The two kept in touch, leading them to later form HEAVYHEX. Frontman David Gastiaburo reflects on their path stating, “The band, the lineup, and the songs simply clicked. While we’ve all been in and out of bands in the past, HEAVYHEX holds a stronger connection for us.” Their first EP, “Stare,” was independently released and in no time gained the attention of the Long Island hardcore community.

Their upcoming debut record, "True To You" set to be released with Bridge Nine Records, dives deep into personal struggles, societal issues, and the demand for equality. It confronts the challenges we face while advocating for a better world. This album is a demonstration of the band's belief in the power of music as a catalyst for change.
