Death Before Dishonor have released their newest single: “Master Of None”! This offering includes both the title track and a cover of the Dead Boys classic, Sonic Reducer, both of which are now streaming.
According to the band:
“Months after ‘Unfinished Business’ was released, the pandemic hit. Touring was paused but we knew we couldn’t lose our momentum and wait another decade in-between records. Zeuss’s production on that record was just the start of many heavy things to come. After welcoming our guitar player B-Roll back into the band, we couldn’t wait to get into the studio again. ‘Master of None’ is a showcase of what we consider all the best aspects of our sound. Songs to be sung in basements and festival fields all over the world. Metallic hardcore riffs mixed with UK punk anthems, but never too far outside the traditional hardcore roots from where Death Before Dishonor started over 20 years ago.”
“Lyrically, Master of None is about breaking the shackles of mental manipulation. Most people can relate to the struggle of someone in their life wielding emotions or guilt against them. With this track, we’re taking aim at those who use these tactics to maintain control, and are providing an an outlet for anyone ready to fight back."

We’re excited to report that the song “True Defeat” by Death Before Dishonor was placed in the premiere episode of season 5 of Mayans. Check out a sneak-peek HERE! And if you haven’t already, makes sure you dig into the Mayans universe, and catch up on the whole series, which was conceived by showrunner Elgin James (Wrecking Crew, Righteous Jams). When the Raid The Archive box was announced, all five vinyl releases contained within remained a mystery and we vowed to not say what was inside. Just that if you liked Bridge Nine’s output in the mid-2000s, that this would be up your alley. With the label having to make the tough move from our old office into our new space, this was designed to help us weather the storm. Thankfully, the boxes were a hit, and the feedback was great. One of the records was pressed in a different quantity than the rest, so it threw off our ability to finish the boxes. So, we’ve broken them out and they’re now available for individual sale, while supplies last! If you grabbed a box originally and now want the other color of a record, now’s your chance! Death Before Dishonor is hitting the road with Hold My Own and Exit Strategy in April as part of their Spring 2023 tour to celebrate the 20th-anniversary re-issue of their first record, True Till Death. The first show is on April 15th in Richmond, Virginia; they’ll be headed down to Florida and working back up and finishing in Ohio on April 23rd!
