Today we launched a batch of t-shirts to benefit the victims of this week's tragic events in Boston. All proceeds from each shirt sold will be donated to the people most affected by the events that occurred on April 15th via One Fund Boston
, which was launched by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino.
We've teamed up with Liberated Images
and four seminal hardcore bands who call Boston their home: Death Before Dishonor
, Have Heart
, and American Nightmare
, and have released four exclusive new shirts.
These shirts will be available from now through the end of the day on Wednesday, May 1st - please pick one up from B9Store.com/benefit
and please share this link.
B9 owner Chris Wrenn commented, "As a longtime fixture in the Boston hardcore punk scene (and the Boston sports world through our office mates, Sully's Brand) we knew that Bridge Nine needed to do something to contribute. What happend at the Boston Marathon to the people cheering on their loved ones at the finish line are the most disgusting, tragic and upsetting circumstances. There are a lot of people who will be affected by this for the rest of their lives, and if there is ANYTHING that we can do to assist them, we want to. Our hope is that through our partnership with these great bands, we can make a difference."
Thanks to all involved in our benefit shirt fundraiser.
