This Spring, Candy Hearts will be canvassing the US alongside Allison Weiss, Pentimento and What's Eating Gilbert (on select dates). Candy Hearts' vocalist Mariel Loveland commented, "We've known Allison and her music for years and are longtime fans, so it made perfect sense when we're coming off the release of our new EP and she's hopping on the release of her LP! Pentimento are our boys. They're a blast and I think we all fit really well together. Allison's music compliments our poppy, softer side and Pentimento's has more edge. I think there will be something on this tour for every different kind of person who likes our band or was maybe hoping to catch us live for the first time!" Information on the tour can be found here from sponsor AlterThePress.

Candy Hearts are riding the waves of their latest EP, The Best Ways to Disappear which was released in late 2012 by Bridge Nine/Violently Happy Records (Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory's record label). The album was called "an onslaught of cuteness in the best way possible" by Alternative Press and "too much fun to not check out" by Absolutepunk. The band's style is described by Gilbert as "truthful lyrics sung to a sweet, honest melody over a '90s-alt-rock-meets-East-Bay-gritty-punk-rhythm." This EP follows up their 2011 full-length, Everything's Amazing & Nobody's Happy, with six new catchy songs produced by Gilbert himself. Candy Hearts spent the tail end of last year on the road with Citizen, followed by a run with New Found Glory and The Story So Far.

Allison Weiss toured Europe with the legendary Lou Reed (The Velvet Underground) in June 2012. She signed to No Sleep Records & will release a new 7", Making It Up, on with her full-length coming in the spring. She toured the US with Handguns & State Champs and will spend much of 2013 on the road, starting first with this Spring's March Radness Tour.

Pentimento is touring in support of its most recent effort, an unorthodoxly released self-titled full-length record. After releasing its debut EP and a split with Young English on Panic Records, the group aimed to release Pentimento in the fall of 2011 via Paper + Plastick Records but was forced to put the record online for free download after a series of disagreements with its old label. The band was the subject of a generous outpouring from the community, which chose to donate to the band in exchange for downloading the album for free, helping Pentimento cover the costs of recording and independently releasing new music.
