American Nightmare announce 20 year anniversary tour
To dub American Nightmare “iconic” would be a vast understatement for the hardcore vanguard — the band has indisputably solidified themselves as legends within the genre and beyond. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Year One, a compilation of the band’s first two EP’s, American Nightmare will embark on a North American tour and re-release the album via Heartworm Press and Bridge Nine Records in Winter 2020.
In February 2000 Wesley Eisold, the singer and lyricist behind American Nightmare, self-booked the band’s first-ever show in a church in Portland, Maine. The show not only spurred one of the most prodigal tenures of hardcore punk, but it also set a precedent for the band’s relentless DIY ethic, volatile musicianship, and bleeding heart lyricism. As a band and as a philosophy, American Nightmare set a new standard for the worldwide hardcore community.
American Nightmare’s first two EPs, American Nightmare and The Sun Isn’t Getting Any Brighter, were released as an LP by Bridge Nine in 2001. Defying styles, trends, and even names, American Nightmare quickly rose as a bellwether to the giants of punk, metal, and mainstream music. After releasing several EP's and two LP's, the band split in 2004 before reforming in 2011, with Eisold pouring time and talent into his new wave outfit Cold Cave in the interim.
The Year One reissue will be released via Heartworm Press and Bridge Nine Records early next year.. A full tour itinerary can be found below. Stay tuned for more updates.

Bridge Nine x McFarland & Pecci Films Present: The Godfathers Of Hardcore Official Release
Bridge Nine is proud to present the official release of Ian McFarland's groundbreaking documentary film, The Godfathers Of Hardcore.
Roger Miret and Vinnie Stigma are lynchpins of New York Hardcore (NYHC), and their band Agnostic Front played a key role in defining, shaping and establishing the sound and cultural code of conduct for the still-thriving movement. Unlike the dozens of bands that have come and gone, leaving their indelible footprint along the way, Agnostic Front are still going strong, 11 studio albums into their 30-plus year career.
In a landscape of increasing apathy and complacency, the messages Agnostic Front presents are as relevant today as they were in the ‘80s when the band members were impoverished, scrappy and ambitious, often fighting for their very survival as well as the perseverance of their volatile but highly inspirational band.
Roger and Vinnie remain the very embodiment of hardcore, representing endurance, perseverance, brotherhood, strength against oppression and the will to keep going, obstacles be damned. Agnostic Front exist on a level all their own...a level of their own creation.
Bridge Nine is offering two editions of The Godfathers Of Hardcore film. Choose from the standard Blu-ray or a special limited edition that comes with a live seven song 7"EP of Agnostic Front playing Berlin's famous S036 club. This version comes housed in an expanded gatefold cover with both the 7"EP and Blu-ray disc.

Pictureplane signs with Quiet Panic; Announces Collaboration with Fish Narc
We're beyond excited to announce Pictureplane as the latest signing in our collaboration with Quiet Panic. Brooklyn-based artist Travis Egedy needs no introduction. He has been making waves with his unique brand of electronic music since 2009 when he dropped the first Pictureplane album 'Dark Rift'. Since then he has released six albums, launched the successful occult inspired clothing line Alien Body, played with the likes of Grimes, Vatican Shadow, and Health, and has headlined international festivals.
Following up 2018's acclaimed album 'Degenerate', Pictureplane has teamed up with Goth Boi Clique's Fish Narc to release the new single 'Underwater Panther' via Quiet Panic/Bridge Nine. Pictureplane has a long history with the GBC crew, having befriended the late Lil Peep and collaborated with Wicca Phase Springs Eternal last year. A mutual artistic admiration and backgrounds in the DIY scene brought Pictureplane and Fish Narc together for this coldwave/deathrock inspired collaboration. The three minute track is driven by a classic four to the floor kick drum, off kilter hi hats, lush synthesizers, and a very rare use of guitars...with Egedy's catchy vocal melodies tying everything together.
Pictureplane shows no signs of slowing down in 2019. He's currently writing a new EP, planning future collaborations, working on his ever growing Alien Body clothing line, and even has a gallery showing of his art coming up this October in New York City. Pictureplane is outsider art in its truest form.
Pictureplane / Fish Narc 'Underwater Panther' will be available via all digital platforms on September 6th.
