1. What kind of music does Bridge Nine release?
First and foremost, Bridge Nine is a hardcore music record label. There are a TON of different styles of hardcore and we like a lot of them. We even like stuff that hardcore kids do but might not necessarily be considered hardcore itself. If you like the records we've put out before, by all means check out our new releases.
2. "Where is my order?" or, "I ordered a shirt and 3 CD's, but only got the CD's... When am I getting the shirt?"
We send out orders as fast as we can, but unfortunately that doesn't always mean right away. We go to the post office every day and send out dozens of orders with every trip. If we're out of stock of a shirt, we'll send the rest of your order immediately and then ship the out of stock item as soon as we get them. There should be an "OUT OF STOCK" slip mixed in with your mailorder.
3. Where did you get the name "Bridge Nine"?
I wanted to have a name that was a metaphor for what I am trying to do, and since a bridge unites two separate places that made sense. The number nine is my lucky number, so it fit.
4. I preordered vinyl but didn't get the rarest color. What gives??
When people take the time to preorder a record from us, we want to make sure they get something special. When we press a 7" we usually do a couple different versions. The rarest versions are the quickest to go, and after the band takes their share there isn't that many left to go around. The leftovers go to the earliest preorders, and the rest get whatever color was made for mailorder. First come, first serve! Another thing, we've gotten wise to those of you out there who are trying to buy up 5-10 copies per release so you can trade and sell them for a healthy profit. At our discretion, after the first couple records you're going to get black vinyl. Bumout.

5. Does Bridge Nine have a street team?
We are working to put together a group of people all over who can help get the word out about Bridge Nine. If you like our records and want to help us out, email jamie[at]bridge9.com. Tell us where you're from, all of your contact info, good record stores that you frequent in your area, messageboards that you post on, etc... We send out updates to our street team as often as we can, because we want everyone to know what we're up to.

6. How can I help Bridge Nine?
Many people ask us what they can do (besided buying records) to help support Bridge Nine and our bands. If you fit into that category, here's what you can do:
- Tell your friends about our bands and their music
- Email links to our site to your friends who might not be familiar with Bridge Nine
- Go see our bands play when they're on tour
- Download one of our banner ads for your website here
- Listen to the sound clips on our site to learn about new records and bands
- Ask your favorite fanzine to interview one of our bands
- Request our bands on your local college radio station
- Tell your local record shop about our records and to order them
- If you write for a magazine or do your own fanzine, interview our bands and review our records!
Bridge Nine has grown through word of mouth and we need your support to keep it going. We are well aware that without your support, none of this would be possible. Thanks!

7. How does a band submit a demo to Bridge Nine for consideration?
Bridge Nine checks out every submission of music we receive. If we are interested in your music, WE will definitely be in contact with you. PLEASE do not call us. Assume we received your package if it has not been returned to you in the mail. We cannot possibly track all unsolicited packages we receive. We try to check out everything. ONLY SEND your music BY MAIL - we do not listen to music on the web or via soundfiles. Again, DO NOT SEND MP3s. Please WRITE YOUR BAND's NAME ON THE CD itself. There have been a few times when we received CD's, thought they were good, then they got lost in the shuffle because the band didn't write their name on it.

9. How does my zine / website / publication get promos? How about ads? Do you have banners?
ONLINE: Due to the high number of online zines starting up and requesting promo service, it has become necessary to become more selective about who we send promo material to. E-mail us at press[at]bridge9.com with info about the site (address, how old, focus, kinds of records you review, recent features, etc). We cannot go online to check out every site immediately, so please give us some time to check it out.
If you would like to run a FREE banner, click to go to our media page to see all of the the banners available.
PRINT: If you'd like Bridge Nine to consider your PRINT publication for our promo servicing list -and/or- for possible advertising, please SEND US the latest issue of your publication and include advertising rates. We want to support those supporting the scene. Everything we receive is carefully reviewed. Please DO NOT solicit an advertisement from us if you HAVE NOT sent us a copy of your publication. Because we've been burned in the past, we don't advertise in first issues.
