There's a dude named Toast. He plays guitar or bass and maybe drums in Ceremony. He prints their t-shirts, too. Their CD came out on Tuesday and they're going on a world tour that makes Metallica jealous.

I also like to call him (Toast, that is) the Karl Kontent editor. Any typo. Any Freudian slip. Any error at all, this dude catches it. Even things on the surface that don't appear to be errors, he takes the parts five sentences back, makes a point that your tenses are mismatching, you have a dangling preposition, and you're pronouns aren't matching the subjects and then he shamingly laughs at me. It's really intimidating and he scares me and for some reason, my experience with him makes me glad I'm not his child. But he's a good dude. A gooder dude than me most of the time.

And he has some pictures of him jumping out of a plane. What a life this dude leads. He prints shirts. He travels the world. He hangs out with supermodels. He has perfect grammar. And he flies with so much strength that he can carry another person on his back. He's a model American.

Ceremony's Bridge Nine debut Still Nothing Moves You Is in stores NOW. Today. Yesterday as well. We sent out a bunch of bulletins and email blasts and forgot to post a news blog post about it, but here we are. It's still available. It's still everywhere you find B9 Records and even places you wouldn't expect.

We've heard feedback from people that our big store lists of states and where to find it are overkill, so we tell you this-you know where you can find our stuff. If you live in California, you can assume that Amoeba, Rasputin's, Dimple Best Buy, FYE, and every Hot Topic have this CD on the shelves. You live out east? Newbury, Bull Moose, Vintage Vinyl, Generation-etc. You get the idea. It's available. In a lot of places. It's awesome. If you can't find it for some reason, you can order it from Bridge Nine's Webstore along with a bunch of new shirt designs including the new Beatles shirt which is downright incredible.

And Ceremony likes to tour. Starting this friday going into the end of the year, they're going to be playing almost as many shows as there are left in the calendar. Starting FRIDAY:

...is the name of Ruiner's upcoming 14-song collection featuring the What Could Possibly Go Right EP (previously released in various forms on Grave Mistake and 1917 records), the band’s split 7” with Day Of The Dead (from Portugal) and the band’s original demos. With all of these songs being out of print for some time, Ruiner and Bridge Nine decided it was time to bring back the magic, via LP and CD which will be in record stores September 30th.

Ruiner has made a name for themselves in the hardcore scene with relentless touring worldwide and a DIY attitude that put these Baltimore upstarts on multiple national tours before releasing their proper debut album, last year’s Prepare To Be Let Down, which AbsolutePunk claims, "makes me view hardcore in a new way." The songs that comprise I Heard These Dudes Are Assholes have been remastered by Nick Zampiello at New Alliance (Converge, Have Heart, Hope Conspiracy) to give this phenomenal 14-song collection a sharper, louder, heavier sound and, for the first time, puts the songs all on one 12” LP vinyl and CD.

In support of I Heard These Dudes Are Assholes, Ruiner plans to spend the majority of their time on the road like always. Expect to see Ruiner touring Europe with Counting The Days starting August 22nd, following that up with an East Coast tour with FC5 in the fall that will take them to THE FEST in Gainesville in October. The band will be ending 2008 with their first tour ever to Australia this November.

Crime In Stereo Details Selective Wreckage and Troubled Stateside Vinyl Re-Release & THREE Months of Touring

Gearing up for their headlining run with Fake Problems starting August 30th before heading out to meet up with the Easycore tour (featuring New Found Glory, A Day To Remember, Four Year Strong and the International Superheroes of Hardcore), and then heading from THAT tour into another new tour TBA, Crime In Stereo has revealed more details about their recent blog pledge to release three LPs and two EPS over the next
twelve months.

Crime In Stereo and Bridge Nine Records are proud to announce the first new CD/LP, Selective Wreckage. Featuring ten previously unreleased songs, Selective Wreckage isn't a B-sides collection, but a showcase of how the band evolved from 2006's melodic punk outburst The Troubled Stateside to 2007's opus, CRIME IN STEREO IS DEAD. As guitarist Alex Dunne said, "Originally we planned on doing two separate 7" EP vinyl records because they were two separate sessions. The side of songs recorded after Troubled Stateside features the 3-songs from the never-released split 7"EP with Capital, another recording
of "When The Women Come Out To Dance" from our free EP on Nitro and "Love," a song that never made the STATESIDE album which I think is better than anything on that record." Discussing the flipside of the album, Dunne says that "DEAD was a difficult record to make and we had to leave off some songs
that were really strong - but we just didn't have enough time to finish them at the time before having to leave to tour, which was frustrating. Three of these songs are more energetic and upbeat and another is really slow and sad, but I love it." Selective Wreckage can also be seen as a document of a band evolving from growing up in the Long Island hardcore and punk scene, to
a band that has transcended genres without leaving their roots behind. The
album is set for release on September 30th.

Additionally, Crime In Stereo and Bridge Nine Records will be re-releasing the band's acclaimed 2006 album The Troubled Stateside on vinyl. Previously released on Nitro Records, The Troubled Stateside
displayed the band's considerable songwriting abilities, which were later
expanded upon on their 2007 album CRIME IN STEREO IS DEAD. Dunne recounts
that "The Troubled Stateside was our first full album recorded with Mike Sapone and it's always been an album that we've been incredibly proud of--but Nitro never put it out on vinyl. Bridge Nine has been a great home for us and has been supportive of everything we've ever done as a band. So we were definitely excited when they told us they felt it was time to give the album a proper vinyl treatment."

The Troubled Stateside vinyl edition will be available at all independent retailers and on vinyl racks nationally on September 16th.

Release Details: Selective Wreckage will be available on CD and LP and will be at primarily independent retailers. This will be the first Bridge Nine vinyl release to have a CD inside the vinyl package for Itunes and car audio purposes. All CD or vinyl purchases from our webstore will still include a free download. If you buy from Itunes, CRIME IN STEREO IS DEAD and Selective Wreckage will be sold as one package release for $12.99 OR as individual tracks for $.99 each. If you just want Selective Wreckage, it's $10. If you want both, it's $12.99.
