Also, if you're ever out in Oakland, CA do yourself a favor and stop by Souley Vegan. I made a pitstop there after venturing up to NorCal after Sound & Fury and had one of the best sandwiches of all time, coincidentally named after our buddy Toast in Ceremony. I walked in and spotted a nice 8x10 glossy of Toasty next to the chalkboard menu and had to order this eponimous item. The Toast includes vegan BBQ seitan and southern-style fried tofu with lettuce, tomato, onion and hot sauce in a tasty bun - shit was delicious.

One of 2010’s most anticipated releases, Cruel Hand’s “Lock & Key,” is out today! If you haven’t already grabbed a copy from the B9 Store HERE, you can pick up a copy in stores everywhere now!

“Lock and Key” has already been dubbed “the best thing that this band has created thus far“ by AMP Magazine and was described by Alternative Press as “...some seriously intense hardcore, mostly characterized by blistering speed and ferociously heavy breakdowns.” “Lock & Key” is Cruel Hand’s second full length Bridge Nine release and the band’s follow up to 2008’s “Prying Eyes.”

Boston’s Have Heart was perhaps one of the most impactful and relevant bands to exist in the hardcore circuit in the 2000’s and have remained relevant even since they disbanded in October of 2009. Over their seven-year-long career, the band released two albums for Bridge Nine Records: 2008’s Songs to Scream at the Sun and the band’s 2006 debut full-length The Things We Carry. That landmark recording (The Things We Carry) has been out of print for the last year and a half and finally will be made available on vinyl again from Bridge Nine Records on August 24, 2010.

In it’s 4th pressing, The Things We Carry will be attainable on clear red vinyl in a standard LP jacket. However, random lucky recipients will receive a limited edition (out of 100) gatefold pressing of the record in an exclusive color.
