American Nightmare The Sun Isn't Getting Any Brighter 7”
#B9R009

Release Date: 03/18/2001

American Nightmare's 2nd EP, featuring four listed songs (and a hidden cover of the Cro-Mag's "It's the Limit").  The cover of this ep featured the debut of their iconic angel (illustrated by Linas Garsys).  There are two different test pressings for this release.  The first test was rejected, and the 2nd (now approved) version features "RE" also etched on the matrix of the record.  This single features a "friends press" on orange vinyl, which was given to friends (and randomly sent out in some mail orders).  The entire rest of the first pressing was pressed on black vinyl, with the only difference in variants being the color of the paper used on the center labels, which varied from red, white, blue, and silver labels.  The 2nd pressing, also on black vinyl, is distinguished by the center labels as well, only instead of having black ink on color (or silver) paper labels, SILVER ink was printed on a flat black paper.  The third pressing saw the EP returning to color vinyl, with special "Fall 2001 European Tour" center label on translucent purple vinyl.  A fourth, and final pressing put the EP back on black vinyl with black ink printed on silver center labels, but to distinguish this pressing from the nearly identical earlier first pressing, a tiny Roman numeral"IV" was placed just below the Bridge Nine logo. The 7" version of this EP is out of print but the songs make up side B of the 12" compilation "Year One", which also includes the bands debut EP.
