Went up to Anchor's Up on Sunday night to check out FTW, Cruel Hand & Agnostic Front... Got to see Bryan / DBD and talk about the upcoming record, see Mike McCarthy for the first time in ages (and snap a pic with him and Stigma after the show), catch Cruel Hand's set and hear about the tour that they just finished up, and talk with Roger about another collaboration with B9 that we'll be officially announcing soon (although if you were at the show, you know what's up!)
AF played a great set with all the classics. Definitely a good end to the weekend!

Couldn't agree more! I love it when these bands come back and come out swinging with the classics, not just their latest. Also, congratulations to Roger--not just for the *secret* B9 collaboration (TOTALLY rad - speaking of the classics!)--but because I spoke with him beforehand and he mentioned having recently had a baby boy--his third kid.
Lastly, I read an interview with Roger recently where he said his favorite classic NYHC band was Urban Waste--and they're playing at Anchor's Up on July 17...
