What do you do when a band is having their record release show on a Friday in Philly and you find out on Wednesday that the covers for the record are all showing up Friday in Massachusetts?

That's what happened this week preparing for the Paint It Black "Amnesia" EP record release, so we did what any proper label would do - we grabbed our intern of 3 days, Justin, hopped in his car and drove to the UPS hub to pick up the covers Friday morning, and headed to Philly.

7 hours later we rolled into the venue, just before doors opened, sweaty and hungry with enough time to drop off the covers and go get vegan Philly cheese steak subs at Govinda's before the show started.

Well worth the trip, we got to hang out and watch TITLE FIGHT, CRIME IN STEREO, CEREMONY & PAINT IT BLACK's sets, watch Hayslett's shoeless mosh, eat a couple of Danielle's Vegan Treats, and watch Justin from Louisiana's eyes widen at all of the big buildings on his first big road trip north of the Mason-Dixon line.
